In this interactive workshop Robina applies her powerful community facilitation methods to enable the goal of community scale food security for a region. Participants will leave with a rich toolkit of supportive resources.

Activities include building co-operation amongst food system players, creating seasonal calendars, establishing a bioregional food resource inventor, strategising local food action plans and generating local food economies.

Robina McCurdy is an accomplished community development facilitator and permaculture educator/designer. After working with village-scale food security in Southern Africa and Brazil, she was a consultant educator with Victory Community Gardens (Nelson), and the Food Resilience Project (Christchurch). Nowadays she facilitates bioregional food action workshops through the ‘Localising Food Project’ all over Aotearoa and Australia.
